HOME is Manchester's beating heart for theatre, film and art. It’s an everyday escape, a space which invites everyone in for conversation, creativity, culture and connection. At HOME, you can discover new dimensions, old favourites and everlasting stories.
HOME is made by the people who step inside it, the audiences who return, the artists who create here, and the collaborators who help shape what HOME is. This documentary was created to pause, listen and reflect on those relationships, and to capture what HOME means beyond the programme, the building, or the moment.
Developed with MR M, SHAW&SHAW and Mike Ash the film brings together real voices from across our community, creating space for honesty, connection and shared experience. It’s a celebration of the everyday impact of culture and how HOME can offer escape, spark creativity, and be a space of belonging.
The documentary sits alongside an exhibition presented throughout our building, celebrating the individuals who help define HOME through their presence, passion and participation. Together, they form a collective expression of HOME, shaped by many voices, lived in many ways, and open to everyone.
