What’s on > What’s on in August

Escape from the summer heat this August by heading into our air-conditioned cinemas for a major new film season The Dark Page, looking at the literary background of Film Noir, the continuance of our Agnès Varda retrospective.

Throughout August and beyond, drop in to our main gallery to see Phil Collins’ solo exhibition Can’t Do Right For Doing Wrong, with works including a series of listening booths, a post-apocalyptic beach cinema and a look back at last year’s MIF closing event Ceremony.

You can also see Camille Smithwick’s series of drawings and portraits in Ode to the Untruth, bringing to life the story of Kaspar Hauser, a teenage foundling who mysteriously appeared in Nuremberg in 1828, on the walls of our Granada Foundation Galleries all month.
