Want interesting things to do in Manchester this month?

As our regular Show & Tell appeals to people curious about the Manchester creative scene (or just folks generally happy to try new things) we usually signpost things that could be of interest in the forthcoming month at the end of the event. You asked us to share it online so here is! The (non exhaustive list) Isabelle Croissant, our Digital & Creative Development Manager has put together for the month of November. And feel free to share your recommendations with us, we’re also very happy to try new things…

For the curious / people who like a mix of things:

Manchester Futurists – A discussion group about how technology will shape the future, and the social, ethical and economic challenges humanity will face. Friendly atmosphere, fascinating topics; you will come out thinking about things in a different way. Usually takes place on the fourth Thursday of the month, although the next one is on Tuesday 21 with the fantastic Dan Hett.

TEDxManchester – Great range of TED like talks, next one is 11 Feb 2018. It is sold out but there is a waiting list.

Pecha Kucha Manchester – Inspiring talks from Manchester creatives using the 20×20 format: 20 images, 20 seconds per image, no stopping. They usually sell out so early booking is recommended.

Tech for Good  – Chats about how we can do more good with technology. Topics are varied and always interesting.

Craft Manchester – Great talks about the craft behind design of all kind. They start again in February, keep an eye out!

Note To Self – A series of events for creative people, professionals and students. Our ethos is simple, bring people together who have a passion for sharing knowledge and insights.

Short films and related:
