This summer we are delighted to be collaborating with the Manchester Children’s Book Festival 2012 on our Primary Drama Festival which will be taking place in July 2011. Pupils will participate in drama workshops lead by our Community and Education team using children’s literature to devise short performances to show as part of the festival to be held at the Zion Arts Centre. The Manchester Children’s Book Festival, under the creative direction of Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, has become well established as one of the city’s most exciting educational and creative events for children and we are really looking forward to becoming one of their cultural partners in the run up to their 2012 festival.
