Announcing a unique opportunity for four people to observe rehearsals for Hard Times and see the finished results. We’re looking for a team of blog style writers to sit in on a rehearsal at the Zion Centre in Hulme and to be in the audience at a dress rehearsal and then report back to our blog readers.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of a major theatrical event and to have your writing published for our blog readers.
To apply, you should write no more than 200 words about your last theatre experience and submit your work using the comments form below. Alternatively, if you already write a blog with an arts related theme, pick your best post and copy it into the form below along with the originating web address of the piece. Short listed contenders will be published here and the winners will be decided by our artistic team by May 3rd 2011.
Each of the four winners will get to attend one rehearsal each between May 9th and 17th but should be available to attend a dress rehearsal on June 4th, 6th or 7th. All final blog posts will be made to the Library Theatres own blog site and editorial policy and agreement between the parties will be discussed before this point.
