Polly Findlay and Jenny Melville & Lysander Ashton nominated in BroadwayWorld UK Awards 2017

Today, BroadwayWorld has announced its shortlist for the 2017 UK Awards, celebrating the best new theatre productions from around the country and two recent HOME productions are amongst the nominees.

Olivier Award-winning Polly Findlay has been nominated for Best Direction of a New Production of a Play, for her work on HOME’s 2016 production of Henrik Ibsen’s masterpiece Ghosts, which received rave reviews from media and audiences alike.

Earlier this year, Tony Award-winning 59 Productions, HOME and Lyric Hammersmith presented Paul Auster’s City of Glass, adapted by Duncan Macmillan from the first novel in the New York Trilogy and the graphic novel by Paul Karasik and David Mazzuchelli. Set designers Jenny Melville & Lysander Ashton brought the seminal American novel to life on our stage with a dazzlingly original set design, and have been nominated for the 2017 BroadwayWorld UK Awards for Best Set Design of a New Production of a Play or Musical.

And well done also to Olivier Award-winning Boy Blue Entertainment for their nomination of Outstanding Achievement in a New Dance Production for Blak Whyte Gray, which toured to our stage here at HOME in Feb this year.

Huge congratulations from all of us here at HOME!

Voting is open until Fri 8 Dec, with the winners announced soon afterwards.
