We partner up with East London’s leading independent arts centre Rich Mix

We are pleased to announce a new film programming partnership with independent arts centre Rich Mix, a charity providing access to culture for all in East London.

We will provide advice and support, enabling Rich Mix to continue and extend its presentation of an exceptional, UK-leading programme of new film releases. Exchanging knowledge and expertise, we will work together to develop audience diversity and offer an extensive programme of touring seasons, talent development initiatives and events offering exclusive access to emerging and established film makers.

Jonty Claypole, Chair of HOME Trustees, and Rich Mix regular, said: “I am thrilled for these two leading independent, not-for-profit organisations to come together and collaborate – it provides a fantastic and unique opportunity for HOME and Rich Mix to expand their programmes, and increase awareness and attendance for specialised film.”

Eddie Berg, Chief Executive at Rich Mix, commented: “Rich Mix is now recognised around the world for the excellence and breadth of our programme, the diversity of the artists we nurture, and the strength and breadth of the partnerships and networks we’ve fostered. We’re thrilled to be adding a major new dimension to our partnership working through this key initiative with HOME. It will initially help us expand and diversify our film programme, drawing on HOME’s expertise and success in this area, but will eventually lead to an even more ambitious collaborative model of working between two of the UK’s most celebrated arts centres, further strengthening the links between the capital and the great northern cultural powerhouse of Manchester.”

Amanda Nevill, Chief Executive, BFI, added: “It’s fantastic to see venues in different parts of the UK collaborating to focus on engaging and exciting new and diverse audiences with British and international film.”
