HOME wins Best Exhibition and Best Business Partnership at the Manchester Culture Awards 2021

We are delighted to announce HOME was recognised for our contribution to culture and arts at the Manchester Culture Awards 2021.

HOME was nominated twice in the Best Business Partnership category, for our partnership with Auto Trader and as well as the Cultural Hardship Fund for Freelancers: Savannah Wisdom Foundation with B&M Retail Ltd, HOME and Manchester City Council – the latter taking the win. The Cultural Hardship Fund was able to provide over 200 grants to freelancers in Manchester who had faced financial hardship due to COVID-19.

The Manchester Open at HOME, a celebration and reminder of the often-hidden creative talent within Greater Manchester, was awarded a joint-win with Grayson’s Art Club, Manchester Art Gallery for Best Exhibition.

Our inclusive live music night, House Party, delivered in partnership with Venture Arts and Drake Music which is for people with different abilities and additional needs was nominated in the Best Event category. HOME was also nominated for an award for the Promotion of Environmental Sustainability where we communicate with audience members and the wider public about environmental sustainability.

Dave Moutrey, Director and Chief Executive at HOME, celebrated HOME’s win and recognition for the Manchester Open with Manchester City Council this November.
