Creating a new cultural brand for Manchester

On 1 April 2012 Cornerhouse and the Library Theatre Company will merge to create an entirely new production based multi-artform organisation. With a purpose-built home in central Manchester, opening in 2014, the new organisation will produce the best in contemporary theatre, visual art and film, learning and participation, creative industries and digital innovation.

Last month we invited agencies to put forward a proposal to help us deliver a new cultural brand for our new home. The project team have now selected the longlist for this project and all successful agencies have been contacted.

We received almost 60 submissions for the project. 10 have gone through to the next stage. Many thanks to all those organisations who took the time to submit their credentials. The standard overall was very high and it was not an easy decision.
