Premiering in October 2017, Motionhouse’s electrifying new multi-media production explores themes of energy, using the company’s renowned fusion of thrilling dance-circus, enthralling digital imagery and extraordinary set design to create a world onstage ranging in scale from the planetary to the microscopic.
Breathtaking choreography and a gripping narrative bring to life stories about the power of the sun, the Earth’s weather systems, how energy works in our own bodies and humans as energy manipulators.
The production is a unique collaboration between art and science: Motionhouse is working with partners from Oxford University to support the creative and choreographic process, putting science at the heart of artistic practice.
