Mothers Who Make (MWM) is a peer support group and creative exchange session for mothers who are artists – professional and/or passionate – writers, painters, actors, dancers, filmmakers, photographers…every kind of maker welcome, and every kind of mother.

We are passionate and committed to developing theatre makers to fill our stages now and in the future. In 2017 we are turning up the volume of our artist development programme, putting the artist first by enabling theatre makers from the region but also on a national and international level to make work, explore ideas and connect.  As part of this commitment we are launching a brand new project, The T1 Commission, which will provide an unrivalled opportunity for mid-career theatre makers to work with us to develop a new production for our Theatre 1 stage in Spring 2019.

We're working with Trafalgar Entertainment Group on a major new commissioning opportunity for theatre makers wanting to expand their practice.
