Square Peg Theatre presents

Roseacre

After a body is discovered at a demonstration, a tangled web of deception is unearthed. Is anyone who they say they are? And how far will they go to keep their secrets?

Inspired by Nordic Noir thrillers such as The Killing and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Roseacre follows the story of an undercover police officer caught in a world of lies, betrayal and murder. Using Square Peg Theatre’s distinct cinematic style, this stylish production blends beautifully choreographed physical theatre with a powerful character-driven story to create a visceral adventure into the heartland of our morality.

“What would film or theatre be without the handgun? What other device or instrument could take its place? This question prompted in part by Roseacre‘s terrific ending; it ends with a bang, in fact.” – Jildy Sauce

“The performances were well executed and the physical elements combined with the direction of Michael White – who also wrote and performed in the piece – created tense moments, great ‘cinematography’ and believable characters.” – North West End

“The strength of the production is the company’s unique style”
