Jeni Howarth Williams is hilarious as the pelmet-skirted vulgar but vulnerable Carol [in A Christmas Carol]; Amir Rahimzadeh is compelling as the Scientist [in The Bombmaker]; Chris Brett is agonisingly funny [in Maddie].
