Join Katie Norris and Sinead Parker for an evening of dark, surreal and anarchic sketch comedy. Filled with dubious characters and satirical songs; think The League of Gentlemen meets Julia Davis, Father Ted and Brass Eye, but with quiche, gin and Disney.
They will introduce you to Cordelia and Ophelia; the gothic twins forced into separation after Macbeth their pantomime horse accidentally kills their parents; Brian the northern agoraphobic with a penchant for terrible mullets and rocking horses and the Tyldesley Widows; the North West’s premier choir made up entirely of widows. Furthermore, join Norris and Parker themselves as they struggle through their “Tory hell” quarter life crisis unable to afford cheese and other luxury items.
Having been shackled together at drama school by a shared birthday, Katie and Sinead found common ground in their love of dark comedy and surreal comedy which inspired them to write and perform comedy of their own.
After a highly successful run at the Manchester, Camden and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals; Norris & Parker are delighted to dig All Our Friends Are Dead out of its comedy grave and resurrect it at re:play Festival 2014 for the high-brow theatre types.
