UK Premiere: Juntos y revueltos (El Mejunje de Silverio)

‘El Mejunje de Silverio’ is a cultural centre located in Santa Clara, central Cuba, known for its rock concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances and children’s shows. But the venue is best known as a meeting place for the LGBTQ community, thus creating a fascinating melting pot of transsexuals, children, artists and rock ‘n’ rollers. The engaging documentary is divided into nine sections about different aspects of love – from Self-love to First Love, and from Mother’s Love to Lovesick – which is what the cultural centre and music venue is all about: radical inclusion and the acceptance of outsiders.
