Iconic cult indie band Suede have career record sales of 2.5 million albums, and in 2015 headlined the John Peel stage at Glastonbury as well as being named NME’s “God Like Genius Award”.
The band will release their 7th album in January 2016. This 52 minute film Night Thoughts sits alongside the album, and opens with a man drowning on a deserted beach at night. As he fights for life the film plays out events from his past. Director Roger Sargent has been named NME’s most important music photographer.
We are pleased to welcome Night Thoughts director Roger Sargent, plus Brett Anderson and Neil Codling from Suede, for a post-screening Q&A chaired by musician, DJ and radio presenter Clint Boon.
