Rams

Directed by Grímur Hákonarson

In a remote Icelandic farming valley, two brothers who haven’t spoken in 40 years have to come together in order to save what’s dearest to them – their sheep. This funny, beautifully moving and stunningly shot festival highlight (it won the Cannes Un Certain Regard prize) is one of those increasingly rare delights, a film that makes you re-appraise what is most vital in life.
