Pensé que iba a haber fiesta

Directed by Victoria Galardi

Starring familiar faces Elena Anaya (La Piel que habito) and Valeria Bertuccelli (XXY), director Galardi describes her third feature as a study of the “fragility of human relationships”. The film deals with the universal dilemma posed by a woman’s desire for her close friend’s ex, and the emotional consequences of acting on this attraction. Set in a leafy suburb of Buenos Aires, the simple story is perfectly played out by the talented cast and crew with wonderful attention to detail.
