An engaging drama about a battle for affection from, and custody of, a worldly-wise nine-year-old girl. Five years after Sara lost custody of her daughter, now with her life apparently back on track, she takes Claire on a trip to Marseilles in search of the father she has never met. But Sara is tailed by the foster mother, Virginia, who fears – perhaps wisely – that her parenting is not yet up to scratch. A sensitive portrayal of a delicate situation, with great acting from the leading ladies as well as ¡Viva! favourite Eduard Fernández in a supporting role.
