Too Punk to be Queer

When did Punk go Queer? Join Rebel Dykes and Bollox for an interactive afternoon all about Queers, Punk music and Punk attitude.

We’ll be bringing you one of the first UK screenings of Queercore: How to Punk a Revolution, a new documentary that captures a moment of queer punk history, the story of American Queercore. We’ll be joined by the director of the film, Yony Leyser who’ll discuss Queer Punk with local academic and musician, Dr Susan O’Shea and Kath McDermott who produced the recent BBC radio programme Queer as Punk. We have a rare acoustic set from Queen Zee & The Sasstones and we’ll be throwing in a few surprises.
