In this study session, Carmen Herrero will introduce the themes and historical background to El Laberinto del fauno. The session will introduce students to aspects of contemporary Spanish and Mexican cinemas and will focus on the work of director Guillermo del Toro. Students will have the opportunity to discuss the events depicted in the film in Spanish, and to complete AS and A2 level language exercises based on the film.
