To complement our screening of ¿Quién mató a Bambi? we are delighted to welcome Santi Amodeo to present his latest feature film, based on the 2004 offbeat comedy from Mexico, Matando Cabos.
Born in Seville, Amodeo is an accomplished film director, screenwriter, musician and composer. He has also collaborated on several projects with fellow Andalusian Alberto Rodríguez, including El Traje. This is his second visit to the ¡Viva!, after the success of Astronautas, which earned him a Goya nomination for Best New Director in 2005.
He’s currently working on a UK-Spain English-language co-production called Me, My Wife and My Dead Wife.
