Denzel Washington stars in this adaptation of Walter Mosley’s crime novel. After losing his job, Easy Rawlins accepts a payment of $100 to find missing woman Daphne Monet. Daphne is the girlfriend of a former candidate in the Los Angeles mayoral race, and soon Easy is drawn into a web of blackmail, dirty cops and even dirtier politicians.
