BFI Film Academy 4 (2015)

We recruited 16 talented young filmmakers to take part in our fourth BFI Film Academy in Autumn 2015. 65 young people applied for this opportunity so the selection process was pretty tough.

The HOME BFI Film Academy covered everything from practical filmmaking to film theory, programming, distribution and certification. It involved approximately 100 hours of training over 2 months and participants were guided through each stage by a team of industry professionals.

As part of the project, the group made a short film called Verses, which follows the relationship between two neighbours who manage to overcome their differences and eventually live in harmony.
