A high school teacher’s unusual experiment to show his students what life is like under a dictatorship spins horribly out of control when their movement takes on a life of its own. Dennis Gansel’s politically-charged drama
is adapted from Morton Rhue’s novel, itself inspired by real events in a Californian High School in the 1960s.
