We’re thrilled that since we opened in April, more than 350,000 of you have visited to see new work in our theatre, galleries and on screen, to have a look behind the scenes or to take part in our event programme. 10,000 people have taken part in more than 250 education events, and we’ve welcomed over 230 volunteers to our team.
Our Inspire theatre ticket scheme means we can welcome communities from right across the city to come and see something new on stage at HOME, for just £1, and with other ticket prices starting from just £5 we’re producing exciting, different and unique work for everyone, right in the heart of central Manchester.
Our programme and engagement teams are working hard to give Manchester’s young people their first taste of theatre. We’ve just launched a great new family programme – inspired by our HOMEwarming Weekend in May when more than 500 children took part in family-friendly theatre activities, and HOME Young Creatives for 14-25 year olds is helping to develop Manchester’s next generation of creative talent.
UK Theatre will announce 12 regional and national My Theatre Matters! Most Welcoming Theatre Award winners, ahead of crowning the overall winner at the 2015 ceremony taking place on Sun 18 Oct at London’s Guildhall.
