Revealing the underworld

Angel Meadow is fast approaching – it kicks off our new season of site-specific theatre across the city next week. This exciting show will lead you through a world inhabited by scuttling gangs, girl rippers and lost strangers in and around Ancoats.

ANU are currently hard at work molding their ideas from development into an incredible, immersive experience. We managed to catch up with some of the cast in between their busy rehearsal schedule to find out how it’s all shaping up…

Angel Meadow moves you through a building layered with the various lives of people who passed through its doors; lodgers in a night asylum, working men in a pub, dead bodies laid out for an inquest and scuttling gangs fighting for their territory. Passing through intimate encounters and installations, your journey will be unique, shaped by the decisions you make and the characters you meet. – See more at: https://homemcr.org/production/angel-meadow/#tab-about
