The Library Theatre was a key player in the cultural life of the city for 62 years, establishing a reputation during its history of presenting new interpretations of classic plays, all of which had something to say to the audience of the day. Off-stage, its outreach work throughout the city introduced the wonder of theatre to audiences who might not otherwise have had the chance to experience the magic of the stage. Take a trip down memory lane and explore our archive.
